Well, first I would like to apologise for sending 15 days without reporting on my progress!
I have actually been doing stuff, however my main problem has been that it took me more than expected to get all the necessary hardware to connect my beloved Macintosh Plus to the internet.
I had the network card (EN/SC adapter) before the start of the challenge, but since it came without a power supply I had to acquire one from ebay during the course of the challenge. What's more, I've been on holiday (in south america) until the 6th of January, so I had a late start. Again my apologies, and I plan to update my blog frequently from now onwards.
So far I have installed a nice and clean copy of Mac os 7.0.1 on a Zip disk to use on the Macintosh Plus. I have been playing with ftp and so far it seems to work through localtalk. I can see what it shows on my powerbook 190cs. I've been having some trouble using MacHTTP on 7.0.1 however. I will also install a copy of Mac os 7.5.5 on the plus.
I'll try to get some pictures later today or early tomorrow about the whole thing.
